Known affectionately as “The Aromatherapy Geek,” Karen is the visionary behind Holistic Therapies Training Academy. With decades of experience as a beauty and complementary therapy tutor, assessor, and IQA, she’s also a published author and course writer. Karen is passionate about empowering learners with real-world skills and a supportive, nurturing approach.
Claire
Beauty & Massage Tutor

Claire, owner of Oceanic Beauty Training, is a highly experienced beauty therapy educator with over 15 years of teaching in a college setting. Having collaborated with Holistic Therapies Training Academy six years ago as a freelance IQA, Claire has joined the teaching team. Her extensive expertise and supportive teaching style make her an invaluable asset to our students.
Jason
Sports and fitness tutor

Jason, aka “The Ninja” or “The Hubster,” leads our sports therapy and fitness training. A qualified massage and sports therapy tutor, assessor, and martial arts instructor, Zen Combat School, & co-owner of Zen Waters Charity, he brings energy, discipline, and a practical mindset to every course.
Sammy
Sports & fitness; & wellbeing tutor
Tutor, Assessor, IQA
Sammy is one of our Sports and Fitness tutors, bringing over 14 years of industry experience to her teaching. As a qualified Level 5 Sports and Clinical Rehabilitation Therapist, she has extensive experience supporting clients through sports massage, injury rehabilitation, complementary therapies, and bodywork. Sammy is passionate about helping learners build confidence, develop strong practical skills and understand how to apply their knowledge safely and effectively in real-life practice.
Natalie
Reiki Master & Complementary therapy tutor
Tutor
Natalie is a deeply intuitive and heart-led practitioner with a profound passion for energy healing and spiritual development. As the founder of Inner Light, she brings a nurturing, grounded presence to every class she teaches.
Natalie specialises in Reiki, Crystal Therapy and complementary therapies that support emotional, energetic and spiritual wellbeing. She believes true healing begins from within and is passionate about helping students reconnect with their inner wisdom, confidence and purpose.
Alex
Office manager
Alex is the friendly face behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly at the academy. From welcoming students to supporting tutors, she’s always ready to help with a smile and a solution.
Alex also co-runs various workshops alongside Claire. They make a great team :-)
