Course Overview

The Accredited Advanced Bodywork Training course is designed for qualified massage and bodywork therapists who want to deepen their practical skills, expand their understanding of the body and become more confident adapting treatments to the individual client.

Rather than simply learning another set routine, this course encourages you to explore how and why the body responds to different approaches.

You’ll discover how changes in pace, pressure, movement, breath and positioning can influence a treatment, while developing the confidence to assess, treat, reassess and adapt your approach according to what you find.

The course brings together gentle mobilisation, Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), breath-led bodywork, fascia and lymphatic principles, alongside an exploration of the nervous system, pain, movement and the relationship between different areas of the body.

Learning is delivered through a combination of live online classes, recorded learning and three face-to-face practical training days, giving you time to understand the theory before putting it into practice.

Entry Requirements

You must already hold a recognised qualification in massage, sports massage or an equivalent hands-on bodywork therapy.

This is an advanced CPD course and is not suitable as an introduction to massage.

Assessment & Certification

Your learning will be supported throughout the course through practical application, tutor guidance and reflection.

On successful completion of the course requirements, you will receive an Accredited Advanced Bodywork Training certificate, which can be used as evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
