FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

💬 “Do I need massage experience?”

✅ Yes – you must hold a recognised massage qualification and Anatomy & Physiology.

💬 “What’s the difference between Deep Tissue Massage and Advanced Massage?”

Deep Tissue Massage is primarily about applying deeper pressure to reduce tension using elbows, forearms, trigger points, and slow, heavy strokes.

Advanced Massage, however, includes:

✔ Trigger Point work

✔ Connective Tissue techniques

✔ Observational assessment

✔ Adaptation & blending

It’s not just deeper — it’s smarter, more varied, and more adaptable.

❌ No – sports massage (especially Level 4) focuses on injury assessment and rehabilitation.

✔ This course is therapeutic, designed to improve tension, movement, and comfort — not to diagnose or treat injuries.
