Course overview
This course in baby massage instruction will provide you with the knowledge required to teach baby massage to parents and guardians for use on their own children using a demonstration doll.

An important part of this service is to facilitate and encourage bonding between the child and parent / guardian. Massage also has a soothing and reassuring effect on babies and young children. You will also gain knowledge of baby anatomy & physiology, listening skills & health & safety.

How this could benefit your clients:
Help clients to develop their bond with their babies, understand their cues & help with common ailments. Offer one to one sessions for both parents, or a groups. Your client could host the group class or you can rent space suitable to run a class.












Course information

Pre-requisite / Entry level:
A massage qualification or some relevant childcare / midwife qualifications may be sufficient pre-requisites, however, you will need to clarify this with your insurers before enrolling.
We also recommend you hold an Anatomy & Physiology qualification - Our online course can be found here and is currently £50 if studied alongside this course.

Career potential:
Self-Employed baby reflexology instructor working from home, salon, Spa or Mobile on a one to one basis or for group baby massage clinics.
Additional costs:
You will need to purchase your own products and equipment in order to carry out your case studies and practice your skills, i.e. a baby massage doll. We recommend you hold student insurance while studying this course to cover you while practicing &/or when carrying out case studies (where applicable).

    If you do not have therapist insurance - You can take out student insurance while practicing, and top this up to therapist insurance when qualified.
