That's why we're delighted to announce that Holistic Therapies Training Academy is now an approved Focus Awards Centre for our Education, Assessing and Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) qualifications.

This marks an exciting new chapter for our academy and, more importantly, creates even more opportunities for aspiring tutors, assessors and quality assurers across the UK.

When expanding our Education & Teaching qualification suite, we wanted to partner with an awarding organisation that shared our values of quality, flexibility and learner support.

Focus Awards is a recognised Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality vocational qualifications across a range of sectors.

By becoming an approved Focus Awards centre, we're able to offer qualifications that maintain high standards while providing greater flexibility for learners who prefer to study online.

This approval complements our existing provision and allows us to offer more choice, ensuring learners can select the study route that's right for their circumstances and career aspirations.

The biggest benefit is greater flexibility.

Many professionals would love to progress into teaching or assessing but find travelling to a training centre difficult because of work, family or location.

Our new Focus Awards qualifications are taught and assessed fully online, allowing eligible learners to complete their qualification from the comfort of their own home while still receiving personalised tutor support throughout.

Designed for qualified assessors who want to progress into an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) role.

Internal Quality Assurers help maintain assessment standards, support assessors and ensure learners receive fair, consistent and high-quality assessment decisions.

When I first became a tutor, I simply wanted a career that gave me more flexibility around my family while allowing me to share the knowledge and experience I'd gained as a therapist.

I never imagined that one day we'd be supporting so many learners on their own teaching journeys.

Seeing therapists become educators, assessors and training providers is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Becoming a Focus Awards Approved Centre is another exciting milestone, and one that will allow us to support even more people in achieving their ambitions.
